offer two-day pass

Have your say

MORE exhibitors, more variety and more entertainment are promised for next month's fourth annual Border Caravan & Camping Expo at Wodonga in Victoria.

And for the first time, visitors will be able to take advantage of a special discounted two-day pass.

The official industry show, staged by the Caravan Industry Association of Victoria (CIA Vic), will have all the latest products and services at Wodonga Racecourse from August 15 to 17.

There will be more than 200 caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, campervans, pop-tops, tent trailers, fifth-wheelers and slide-ons for every purse and purpose.

Also on show will be a huge range of parts and accessories, tents, annexes, destinations, towing equipment, telecommunications, alternative power and off-road equipment.

CIA Vic chief executive Robert Lucas said display space had been expanded into the exhibition shed to keep up with demand.

"This show just keeps getting bigger and better, and it's an absolute winner as a top-value day out for the whole family," he said.

"In addition to free parking, food vendors and our popular kids' playground, this year we also have free show bags for the kids, featuring the new Caravanning Explorers' Club characters.

"A special attraction this year is the charity raffle to win a 23ft family caravan worth over $78,000.

"The caravan industry is working with Kids Under Cover to help prevent youth homelessness. Tickets are just three dollars.

"As is our annual tradition, we will also be donating $5000 to a local charity."

Admission to the expo will be $12 adults, $10 concession and free for children under 15 (accompanied by an adult).

The new two-day pass will cost $18 (concession $15).
