Leon and Linda Walker: new managers of BIG4's Yamba parkLEON and Linda Walker have taken over the reins of a popular 130-acre caravan and holiday park at Yamba in northern NSW.

The couple, who hail from Lytham in Lancashire in the UK, say they are looking forward to their new challenge at the four-star BIG4 Saltwater @ Yamba Holiday Park.

"We are in the process of installing a water park called Salty's Cove @ Yamba which is very exciting and we hope it will be finished in the next couple of months," they told Caravanning News.

"We are also hoping to allow small dogs from July 1 but will have to comply with certain regulations as we will not be allowed to upset the local wildlife, which includes the many mobs of kangaroos on site," they added.

Leon had been working as a groundsman at the BIG4 Tweed BIllabong Holiday Park at Tweed Heads on the Gold Coast for about 12 months before landing the managers position at Yamba, while Linda was a full-time mum.

Leon and Linda have already recruited a little help in their new role.

They explained: "Our eight-year-old son Dane has already been nicknamed the 'Mini-Manager' ... and he is taking his role very seriously."
