AUSTRALIAN recreational vehicle manufacturer Talvor has hit the American market.

Talvor USA is an extension of the family-owned Brisbane business which builds caravans, motorhomes and campervans for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The company said Talvor USA had brought together industry experts from the US and Australia to manufacture travel trailers, toy haulers, fifth wheelers and Class B vans at its Perris, California facility.

These vehicles would primarily be sold in the United States, though Talvor USA would also be exploring export opportunities to Australia, Korea and China.

Talvor said the rugged, yet attractive, vehicles would incorporate contemporary styling and design features that would set them apart from the competition.

They would be backed by the reputation of a well-respected international brand with more than 25 years of experience in meeting the needs of travellers.

Chief executive officer Luke Trouchet is confident the new enterprise will be a successful one because the American team had the expertise and experience to meet and exceed the expectations of the RV market.

"Beyond the wheels and chassis, Talvor USA vehicles are based on an understanding of what the modern traveller desires,” he said.

"Our customers want a place to get away while going to amazing places. We believe that to own a Talvor USA recreational vehicle will be to own endless possibilities."

The Talvor USA team includes general manager Michelle Treangen, a 30-year RV industry veteran, and sales manager/controller Steve Hauser, who has more than 23 years of RV industry experience.

Both have previously worked for Fleetwood RV.

Talvor USA is located at 1320 W. Oleander Avenue, Perris, California 92571.
