Talvor's 480A with slide-out ... but no club lounge

Fixed bed layout favoured

Talvor listens ... and scraps club lounge

Have your say

AUSTRALIAN-owned Talvor has listened to customers' comments and scrapped the convertible club lounge in its 480A caravan.

Chief executive Luke Trouchet said the company had initially offered the club lounge but had now responded to customer demands for a fixed bed layout.

"Our customers are generally over 50 years old, and often long-term travellers ... they don't want to make up their bed every night while travelling," he explained.

Incorporating modern technology, living space in the three-berth Talvor 480A is improved with a 1.72m slide-out which creates additional floor space in front of the sofa when the caravan is stationary.

This allows the three-seater ultra-leather sofa to convert to a comfortable single bed, suitable for a grandchild or additional guest.

Other features within the 4.87m internal floor plan include full ensuite with washing machine, an electric awning and 60 watt solar panel as standard.

A light, modern interior creates a sense of space and sophistication, while the fully functional kitchen includes a large 186L fridge, gas cooktop with glass cover, retractable flick mixer, microwave and fold-away kitchen bench extension.

Previously retailing for $55,000, the 480A is available at a reduced price of just $42,990 tow-away.

Talvor’s current fleet is available to view at the Australian Premier Dealership located at 698 Nudgee Road, Northgate, Brisbane.
