Beware of thieves, warn police as School holidays bring spate of thefts at peninsula parks POLICE have warned caravanners on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula to beware of thieves. This follows a spate of thefts from parks in the area, particularly during recent school holidays. Police are now patrolling parks and have urged holidaymakers to report suspicious behaviour to caravan park managers, police on 131444 or to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Meanwhile, they have reminded travellers to secure their caravans at night and not to leave property outside. BACK TO CARAVANNING NEWS MAIN PAGE
