NEW AGE DAWNS FOR CARAVAN OWNERS

NEW Age caravan owners have held their inaugural gathering, with more than 30 enthusiasts attending the event at Cowes Caravan Park, Philip Island, Victoria.

Spokesman Bryan Crow said the four-days comprised "fellowship and sessions on tech talk, reversing and handover procedures".

"Members travelled from all parts of Victoria and some came down from New South Wales," he explained.

"There was also a large attendance on Saturday and Sunday of management and staff with their families from the New Age factory and dealers.

"We were blessed with days with lots of sunshine and great weather.

"Over the weekend, owners spent much time talking with others about lots of things but mainly about previous and future planned travels, their 'vans and generally getting to know each other."

Mr Crow said everyone had left the gathering feeling they were a part of a new and exciting family of like-minded owners.

"There are sure to be long and happy friendships developed," he said.

"This weekend was just the start of something really exciting for everyone who attended."

The next meeting of New Age caravan owners is planned for later this month at Nelson Bay in Port Stephens, with all owners invited to take part.

"Already, we have Victorian owners who can't wait for the next weekend so they can get to know their NSW counterparts," Mr Crow added.
