Red faces outside city police station, but ...
Runaway caravan drama fails
to halt round-Australia travels NO-ONE was injured when a caravan suddenly detached itself from a 4WD as it travelled through a Queensland city. Motorists and bystanders looked on in astonishment as the runaway twin-axle caravan came to rest against a pedestrian sign in Isa Street, Mt Isa. The mishap happened outside a police station and officers were quickly on the scene. The red-faced caravanners from Esk in Queensland made a statement to officers before continuing their round-Australia travels.
