Popular park taken off market Brisk business brings a change of heart over sale A POPULAR caravan park on Queensland's Sunshine Coast has been withdrawn from sale.
The Melbourne-based owner has decided not to sell the three-star Golden Beach Holiday Park at Caloundra, which attracts many southerners seeking the winter sunshine. The 1110sq metre, 57-site park was on the market for $12 million and Caloundra City Council had approved plans for 278 apartments in three 12-storey blocks on the site. But the park's increasing popularity has resulted in a change of heart over the sale and it has been taken off the market. Owner Rodney Tartakover said that at the moment it was not a sellers' market and the park had become more profitable since he appointed new managers in January. BACK TO CARAVANNING NEWS MAIN PAGE
