TWO recently published guides will help enthusiasts get the most out of
their caravans and travels around New South Wales.
The Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) has announced
the release of its 2008 editions of two flagship publications – The NSW
Caravan & Camping Holiday & Touring Guide and the Manufactured Home
Villages & Estates Guide.
Tailored for the touring public, the touring guide provides comprehensive
maps and regional information for 18 holiday destinations around the
State.
"From the Sapphire Coast through to western NSW, the guide is a valuable
resource of information for caravanners and campers which simplifies the
holiday planning process by including detailed listings of the facilities
offered by holiday and tourist parks across New South Wales," CCIA chief
executive officer Barry Baillie said.
For travellers looking for particular features such as sites accommodating
larger RVs, ensuite sites for campers or internet facilities, the guide
includes all this information and more for travellers.
"A new feature of the 2008 guide is the inclusion of regional snapshots
introducing each holiday region. Snapshots include interesting regional
information such as average temperatures through to local radio stations -
making planning holidays even easier," Mr Baillie added.
The free guide is available from CCIA's Holiday and Tourist Park members and
commercial affiliates, visitor information centres throughout NSW and at
various caravan and camping shows across Australia.
For only $5 postage and handling, it can be ordered via
www.tournsw.com.au or by calling
CCIA on 02 9615 9999.
The guide will also be available at the NSW Caravan, Camping, 4WD and
Holiday Supershow (March 29-April 6, 2008) at Rosehill Racecourse.
The Manufactured Home Estates & Villages Guide caters for those
looking for a place to call 'home' in a manufactured home estate or
village.
"Dotted across New South Wales, many people choose manufactured home
estates and villages for the social and community lifestyle with the added
pleasure of being situated in a stunning location," Mr Baillie said.
"With communal gardens well kept, park managers on hand for residents and
facilities and shops usually close by it is an enviable lifestyle. The new
guide details nearly 100 communities around the State and the quality
facilities they offer."
A free publication, it is available from the Caravan and Camping Industry
Association of NSW on 02 9615 9999.
Both guides identify NSW product and service providers in each region for
the convenience of travellers.
