VICTORIAN-based Elite Caravans will feature on Discovery Channel's How Do They Do It? series this year.

Filming for the segment was undertaken in March at the company's manufacturing plant in Campbellfield.

It highlights the manufacturing process of an Elite caravan from start to finish, and includes interviews with owners Adrian Cappola and Peter Smith.

"Presented with the chance to show Elite to the world is beyond comprehension, and we're thrilled to present a manufacturing process in which we're extremely proud," Mr Cappola said.

The Discovery Channel contacted Elite Caravans in January this year.

"We are proud to be the only caravan manufacturer in Australia to be approached for the segment," the owners said.

"To be among brands such as Bentley, Volkswagen, Dr Martens and even NASA ... now that really solidifies we're not only doing something right but something meant for the world stage."

No date has yet been fixed for the screening.

Since the current owners took over the manufacturer of luxury caravans in 2010, Elite has recorded rapid growth.

The company said it focused on engineering excellence and innovation which resulted in many unique products.

Its impressive range include the testosterone-fuelled and ultimate bloke's toy ... the mobile 'Man Cave' caravan.
