PAMPERED pooches can now holiday in luxury at a 4.5-star Victorian caravan park.

Anglesea Beachfront Family Caravan Park, a member of the Top Tourist chain, is now offering two dog-friendly cabins for guests who can't bare to be separated from their pets.

The two-beroomed cabins are available throughout the year, except for the East and Christmas holidays.

They feature a large, secure and fully fenced outside area with a kennel, water bowl and handy bag dispenser for easy waste disposal.

But as an added bonus, pets are also allowed to sleep inside the cabins.

A specially labelled pet towel is also provided so owners can dry off their pooch after a walk along the beach.

Manager Justin Morris commented: "People love the idea that they can bring their dog on holiday and stay in a cabin.

"We already have a number of dog-friendly sites for caravanners and our dog-friendly cabins are the result of many customer enquiries and the growing demand for pet-friendly accommodation for travellers with dogs.

"Typically these customers have had to rent a holiday house, which is often a lot more expensive and doesn’t offer the facilities that we provide at Anglesea Beachfront."

He said dogs cost $10 extra a night and guests were happy to pay to have their pet stay with them.

"Our two dog-friendly cabins are located in a peaceful area close to the Surf Coast Walking Track, which is popular for walking dogs directly from the park.

"Anglesea and the Surf Coast area has many dog-friendly beaches and walks, and owners can let their dogs off leash at certain times," he added.
