AL-KO's rising star scoops
young achiever award
Have your say
CRAIG Greenaway of AL-KO International has been officially recognised
as a rising star in Victoria's caravan industry.
His status was cemented with a young achiever award at the recent
prestigious annual Hall of Fame Industry Awards and Gala Event in
Melbourne.
The gong recognises his "contribution and achievements" within the State's
growing caravan industry.
Craig joined AL-KO in 2011 as motorhome chassis production engineer and
led its engineering and technical development, working closely with
motorhome manufacturers and Fiat as the company's key motorhome cab
partner.
He also guided the AL-KO team in achieving the ISO 9001 Quality Management
certification and in 2017 was promoted to plant manager, assuming
responsibility for all aspects of manufacturing across the AL-KO Dandenong
plant.
Commenting on the award, AL-KO managing director Peter Mannfolk
congratulated Craig on "this great achievement".
"It is fantastic to see Craig recognised by the industry for his
outstanding contribution," he said.
"He is a valuable member of the AL-KO team and a very deserving winner of
this award. AL-KO is committed to developing our staff, and we see this as
being crucial for the future of the business and the industry."
Craig said he was "very honoured" to receive the award.
"I am grateful for the support and opportunities provided to me by AL-KO
and my colleagues," he said.
"We have a fantastic team of people here and I am very much looking
forward to the future."
AL-KO was also recognised with a Manufacturer of the Year award.
