Production stepped up to meet growing demand

Power to the modern hi-tech grey nomads

A MAJOR battery supplier is stepping up production of deep cycle batteries to meet the growing demand from grey nomads.

SuperCharge Batteries say that sales are soaring as modern hi-tech travellers use more and more electrical appliances and electronics in their recreational vehicles.

"Gone are the days when caravans relied on gas for even the basic thing like lighting," a spokesperson said. "These days the grey nomads are power-hungry."

To meet these demands, the company offers two types of deep cycle batteries.

AMP-TECH deep cycle batteries have exceptional strength, durability and reserve capacity even in the toughest and most extreme conditions.

They are designed to deliver results through continuous re-charge or discharge cycles, and are perfect for the ‘long haul’.

"The technology is all about providing steady level of power for extended period of time and their accessible design and minimal self discharge rate make them a winner every time," the spokesman explained.

The second option is the ALL-ROUNDER semi-deep cycle battery.

Powered by expanded calcium grid technology, the maintenance-free ALLROUNDER is built with better high temperature tolerance, better vibration resistance, high cranking reserve capacity and high ampere hour.

This means it can easily start a 4WD or motorhome and provide the power needed to run basic vehicle accessories.

Both batteries are covered by 12 months full replacement warranty.
