Harnessing power from the sun ... it's in the bag

CARAVANNERS can now simply open a bag and be harnessing electrical power from the sun within minutes.

Projecta's new solar panel kits cater for a wide range of applications thanks to new technology and research on market requirements.

Four convenient sizes are available in 40W, 60W, 80W and 120W, with the two smaller compact and lightweight kits ideal for maintaining and charging batteries used to power small to medium appliances such as camp lights and accessories.

The two larger more powerful panels are designed for use on caravans, motorhomes, houseboats, remote pumps etc as well as shacks and holiday homes where power is required to charge batteries servicing larger or multiple appliances.

Each kit is equipped with fold away support legs and an inbuilt solar controller to maintain the battery in a fully charged state while protecting it from overcharging.

A 10m lead complete with battery clips is fitted to each so they are ready for immediate battery connection and operation.

The two larger kits also include a Merit and Anderson plug to allow easy connection to pre-wired battery systems.

Thanks to the technological developments in polycrystalline technology, Projecta’s all new solar panel kits are both efficient and compact in size.

All models feature tempered low iron glass for enhanced performance and weather protection.

They are fitted with a sturdy heavy duty alloy frame and come complete with a durable padded carry bag for convenience and protection of the panel.

The new Projecta solar panels are available from leading automotive, 4WD and camping outlets throughout Australia at prices starting from approximately $549.
