Celebrations as order books swell

Lightweight Adrias proving popular with Aussie buyers

MORE and more imported Adria caravans are hitting Australian roads, it has been revealed.

"This year’s national shows have been very successful for Adria with nearly $2 million in sales achieved, again showing there is a need for lightweight caravans in Australia," RV Asia Pacific general manager Chris Swann told Caravanning News.

"Feedback received on our new models has been very positive and we look forward to continuing our sales growth in the coming months."

RV Asia Pacific, importers and distributors of the European-built caravans throughout Australia, says there are some 700 Adria caravans on Australian roads.

And they are celebrating as order books swell after exhibiting their caravans at major caravan shows in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane over the past year.

Mr Swann said Adria caravans had been specifically designed for Australia’s varied conditions.

Chassis strengthening by AL-KO using state-of-the-art AL-KO independent rubber suspension axles, along with other key features, had contributed to Adria’s success.

The Adria dealer network has been further expanded and this had helped to provide Adria caravan owners with good strong aftermarket support.

"The range of Adria caravans now available offers an excellent choice and includes the latest fittings and furnishings from Europe," Mr Swann explained.

"Being fully insulated throughout, these caravans can go with you anywhere around Australia," he added.
