AUSTRALIAN Tourist Park Management has clinched a new deal to continue running Wyong Shire Council's NSW Central Coast caravan parks.

The award-winning partnership means ATPM will manage the 3-5 star Budgewoi, Canton Beach, Norah Head and Toowoon Bay holiday parks for another three years.

The decision was confirmed at a recent council meeting when councillors unanimously gave the go-ahead.

ATPM managing director Steve Billett said his company had built a strong relationship with the council and local community during the last five years, creating parks which were an asset to the region.

"ATPM and Wyong Shire Council hold similar values and complement each other perfectly," he said.

"Our dedicated and focused teams work together towards a common goal – to bring visitors to the Central Coast and provide exceptional holiday experiences for them."

He said the parks had achieved "great things" under ATPM's management.

The council had undertaken an extensive capital works program which included resort-style swimming pools, camp kitchens, jumping pillows, new cabins, new receptions and refurbished amenities.

The parks had also achieved silver Gumnut Awards and Hunter and Central Coast Tourism awards.

ATPM would continue its contract with customer-focused policies such as free onsite activities, free wireless internet, free fresh milk and newspapers on arrival to cabin guests, help with parking caravans on site and assistance with forward bookings, tours and attractions.

"This all adds to the customer experience ... happy kids, happy parents and a great holiday," Mr Billett added.

ATPM has been operating for 18 years and now owns or manages 26 holiday parks and resorts across five Australian states.

It provides extensive management, development, marketing and consultancy services to the holiday park and resort industry.
